ฟังเพลงแล้วรักคุณพ่อ แต่ก็รู้สึกเศร้าในเวลาเดียวกัน

อาจเป็นเพราะว่า นักร้อง Setven Curtis Chapman เขาแต่งเพลงนี้เพื่อระลึกถึงลูกสาวที่เสียชีวิตไป แล้วเขาก็คิดว่า เขาเป็นพ่อที่ไม่ดีเลย

เขาบอกเอาไว้ว่า บางทีเขาก็กังวลเรื่องในอนาคต หรือนึกเสียดายอดีตที่ผ่านมา แต่เขาก็พยายามเรียนรู้ความสำคัญของสิ่งที่อยู่ในปัจจุบัน ไม่ว่าจะสุขหรือเศร้า เขาอยากมีส่วนอยู่ในทุกเสี้ยวเวลาในขณะนี้พร้อมกับลูก ๆ เขาจึงเขียนเพลง Cinderella ขึ้นมาเพื่อเป็นสิ่งเตือนใจ และหวังว่าจะทำให้ผู้ฟังมีกำลังใจขึ้นเช่นเดียวกัน
